Seas of Trees has partnered with Artist
Benedicto Ixtamer, for a fundraiser to sell his art to plant more trees. 

Seas Of Trees has already planted 500 trees with Benedicto and youth from his community in San Juan de la Laguna on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala in 2020.  With proceeds from this art show, we will set out to plant 1,000 native saplings (Pino, Ulamo, and Cuxin) with another collaboration this summer. 

All proceeds from this art show will be MATCHED by a generous Seas of Trees donor and will go directly towards this planting effort. Your donation is tax deductable. 

For every $5 we raise 1 tree gets planted. Each tree planted will sequester 1 ton of carbon in its lifetime. 

America’s average carbon footprint per person per year is 16 metric tons, one of the highest in the world. Guatemalan's average carbon footprint is 1.1 metric tons a year. The global average carbon footprint per person globally per year  is 4 tons. This is WHY we plant trees!
