SUP Asia Mangrove Conservation
In a collaborative effort between SUP Asia and Seas of Trees to restore Cambodia's vital mangroves, 50 dedicated volunteers joined forces over two planting sessions in February and March 2024. Together, we have successfully planted 2,000 mangrove trees, contributing to the rehabilitation of the country's coastal ecosystem.
Second Annual Ute Mountain Ute Tree Planting Retreat
In 2024, we brought together 10 Ute Mountain Ute youth and 4 chaperones for a hike to High Camp, where they successfully planted 50 Blue Spruce and 5 Doug Fir trees. This retreat embodied Reparation, Recreation, Reciprocity, and Reforestation, offering a meaningful way for youth to connect with nature while restoring local forests. The newly planted trees are now set to thrive, leaving a lasting environmental impact.
National Honors Society Tree Planting
National Honors Society students from Telluride High School came together in September 2024 to plant 35 trees on their school grounds, creating shade and leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.
Treecovery Project in Kula, Maui
Standing strong in Kula, Maui, 85 trees mark the success of the Treecovery Project. With volunteer support and ideal conditions, this initiative also helped Lāhainā families restore trees to their land, strengthening both nature and community.
Restoring Maya Nut Forests in Petén, Guatemala
Partnering with local communities, we have planted 200,000 Maya Nut trees to restore biodiversity, support wildlife, and provide sustainable income for indigenous women. This initiative ensures a greener future through direct seeding, resilience to drought, and community-driven conservation.
Climate Education and Reforestation, Rwanda
Seas of Trees in partnership with We Do Green Organization conducted ‘’A climate education and Reforestation activity’’ The planting event convened GS Rutonde students and theirteachers, environmental students from University of Rwanda, community members of the village, local administration, practioners, youth-led CSOs/eco-startups (a community of WDGO-Youth Climate Champions), and the collective effort aimed to enhance youth’s knowledge and actions to address the rapidly escalating global climate crisis as well as conserving biodiversity, restoring landscapes, and strengthening their communities. It was a momentous occasion for intergenerational solidarity just to connect, learn and act together for a green and equitable future.
Demonstration Forest, Telluride
We have successfully planted all 2,011 sapling trees at the Demonstration Solar Forest. Over 100 volunteers who helped put trees in the ground from ages 5-75! From Telluride Academy campers to BlueGrass Festivarians. Team work made the dream work!
SACRED VALLEY, PERU

TELLURIDE, COLORADO
Based out of Telluride Colorado a small ski town, our goal is to plant as many trees as there are people who live in Telluride full time. We are starting with the goal to plant 2,200 trees in the year of 2020. Help us make this goal a reality and be part of a global change in lowering the carbon footprint.
LAKE ATITLAN, GUATEMALA
In November 2020, teens in Lake Atitlan joined forces and planted 274 trees in their local community. These students gained an understanding on the importance of trees and soil, as well as created a strong connection with nature. Each student also got payed a day’s wage to plant the trees!
KATMANDU, NEPAL
In Nepal we are dedicated to directing a planting project at different monasteries throughout Nepal.
