National Honors Society Students Plant 35 Trees at Telluride High School

In September 2024, 15 National Honors Society students from Telluride High School volunteered to plant 35 Spruce, Ponderosa, and Aspen saplings in front of their school. This project, guided by the school's maintenance staff, aimed to provide shade for future students and leave a meaningful legacy. With the support of Telluride Foundation, San Miguel County, and CAASE, these students helped to make a long-lasting environmental impact. The trees were carefully planted in irrigated zones and will hopefully be a towering presence when these students return for their 20th reunion. 🌲🌿
